Foundation I
1:00-2:00 (Soshana)
Agility fundamentals is open to any dog 4 months and
older. This is a must for any dog that is beginning their
agility as this is where it all starts. Exercises and drills
given in this class include impulse control games, setting
up, recalls, recalls with distractions, impulse control with
distractions, shaping, confidence building, working with
distractions, toy games etc.
No prerequisite
Masters Coursework
2:00-3:30 (Mary)
Dogs should be competing in the Masters/Excellent level
or equivalent. Challenging drills and exercises will be
executed. Included and not limited to difficult weave
entries, pull throughs, threadles, serpentines, back side
sends etc.
Prerequisite: dogs competing at the Masters/Excellent
Level
Jumping
5:00-6:30 (Soshana)
This class will focus on teaching proper jumping skills. The
exercises will include 1 jump work, teaching extension/
collection and grid work. This class is for any dog that
has started their jump training and/or dogs needing better
jumping skills.
Prerequisite: Foundations II
Running dogwalk
6:30-8:00 (Soshana)
This class is for students wanting to train an independent
running dogwalk. Dogs should be a minimum of 7 months old to participate.
Prerequisite: Foundations II
Foundation I

recognize patterns on course and handle them properly.

Thursdays
Foundation II
5:00-6:00 (Mary)
Foundation II is open to dogs 6 months and older. This is
your dogs next step for his agility career. Now that the dog
offers behaviors through shaping, can work through all
sorts of distractions and has impulse control, it’s time for
some fun. Exercises and drills in this class include body
awareness, beginner cone work/handling, recall to heel and
the start of obstacle training.
Prerequisite: Foundation I
Contacts/Weaves
6:00-7:00 (Mary)
This class will teach your dog to perform the dogwalk,
aframe and seesaw as well as weave poles. This is for the
dog that has finished Foundation II
Prerequisite: Foundations II
Handling Basics
7:00-8:30 (Mary)
This class will cover skills needed to handle your dog
efficiently on course. A motion based method of handling
will be taught. Exercises included in class will be the 6
recall to heel positions and how to properly execute them
on course.
This is a novice level handling class but also open to
advanced level dogs whose handlers need to fine tune their
skill. Obstacle issues will not be addressed in this class.

approval of Instructor
